Cheryl Cole reveals who would play her in a movie: 'She stood up for what she was worth'

'Call My Name' beauty Cheryl Cole has confessed that she would have picked the late Marilyn Monroe to portray her in a movie.

Despite the fact that film siren Monroe died back in 1962, Cole explained that she would have been her first choice if a motion picture was ever made about her life. She told Cosmopolitan magazine:

"Marilyn Monroe. She was wise and strong but also vulnerable. She was the first woman to cut her own deal with Fox. A woman had never achieved that and stood up for what she was worth."

She added to the November issue of the magazine that turning 30 was liberating because she finally feels comfortable in her own skin:

"I think it's when you're figuring out who you are, and doing your trial and error. But by the time you hit 30 you know, so you feel more comfortable in your own skin. I feel settled now."
