Hailing from East London, 19 year old Mike Hough has succeeded in making a huge impact not only in the UK but internationally by recording covers of renowned songs from the comfort of his own home – quickly becoming a YouTube smash sensation.

Mike joins other esteemed acts such as Ellie Goulding, Corrine Bailey Rae and The Vaccines after signing his first major publishing deal with Global Talent Publishing in 2011.

Mike’s first buzz track ‘Hero’, without the use of traditional PR tools – no radio, no official video, no TV appearances, still peaked at #88 in the Official Charts and came in at #35 in the UK Independent Charts and Top 10 in the RnB iTunes chart.

Following the success of his first release, Hero, Mike Hough is set to unveil the brand new track, Get Gone, from his forthcoming debut album / EP.

The single, which is set to give a taste of what to expect from the artist in 2012, is scheduled for release on 1st April 2012. On the night of the release, Mike will be headlining at the notable Borderline venue in London, performing exclusive and never-heard-before tracks from the brand new and highly anticipated album.

The past few months have seen a meteoric rise to stardom for Mike Hough who not only signed to Global Talent Publishing, but who was also sitting in the same category as global superstar Adele when he was nominated for the Best UK RnB & Soul Artist at the MOBO Awards last year.
