Chris Brown vows to get "back to the music and the fans" after jail stint ends

Chris Brown has signalled his intention return to music after leaving jail.

The singer had been a Los Angeles County jail since March due to violating parole relating to his 2009 assault of Rihanna.

He was recently given another 131 days inside, but he has been released early.

The R&B man quickly took to Twitter to say: "Humbled and blessed. Back to the music and the fans. Thank you God."

Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin had originally sentenced Brown to 365 days in jail, but also gave him credit for the 234 days he has already served.

The violation of parole occurred when he admitted being involved in a fight in Washington last year.

Brown has been working on new album 'X' for a number of months and it has suffered numerous delays.
