Chris Brown unfazed by talk of Rihanna relationship

Chris Brown has admitted that people probably won't stop talking about his relationship with Rihanna.

The R&B man was dating the 'Stay' singer until he assaulted her in 2009.

They have reportedly been on-and-off since, but it seems the celebrity duo are now going down their separate paths.

Speaking to Billboard, Brown said acknowledges that as long as the pair are in the public spotlight, people will still talk about them.

However, it is something he is able to push to the back of his mind.

When asked if he envisages a day when people don't bring up their relationship, the singer said:

"When we’re not relevant anymore, that might be the case. As long as you’re doing something good, people will always bring up old stuff or negative stuff because they don’t want you to surpass a certain level or elevate. But as long as you have your head on straight, it shouldn’t matter what people want to say."
