Video footage of a shooting at Chris Brown concert has emerged online.

The R&B man was performing a private party at San Jose's Fiesta nightclub on Sunday morning (January 11) when the incident happened.

Five people were injured in the shooting and they are expected to survive. Several people have been detained by police.

Video footage from the incident shows the crowd falling to the floor in the hope of achieving safety.

Police confirmed that Brown was unharmed in the shooting.
