Chris Brown dominates the BET nominations

The list of nominees for 2011's BET Awards has just been announced and Chris Brown leads the pack with an impressive 6 nods.

This year has proven to be a great time for Brown after his rather turbulent history and he has come back stronger than ever to be nominated in the categories of Best Male R&B Artist, twice in the Best Collaboration category, Best Actor for his role in 'Thriller Takers', Viewers Choice and Video of the Year for 'Look At Me Now'.

Tweeting about the honour in the early hours of this morning, May 18, he wrote:

"Thx to B.E.T for all the support and I love you teambreezy"

Lil Wayne is up for 5 gongs whilst Kanye West, Canadian rapper Drake and Bajan beauty Rihanna have been nominated for 4 awards each. '21st Century Girl' Willow Smith is in the running for Best Newcomer and Cali Swag District are up for Best Group just days after member M-Bone was killed in a drive-by shooting

The ceremony will take place on June 26 and you can watch Brown's new video for 'She Ain't You' here:
