Chris Brown has confirmed the release date of his new album 'Fortune'.

The album will come out on May 8, with the singer wanting his fans to "have more music" to digest before the full release.

He tweeted:

"FORTUNE! May 8th!!! I hope this album shows growth and positivity to all my fans and will inspire them to live life to the fullest!!! #FORTUNE."

"The reason for may 8th is so you (the fans) can have more music to make ur decision on if u want."

He then added: "Love you guys, thx for all the support!"

As previously reported, Chris Brown went on record to say that he reckons his new video for the track 'Turn Up The Music' is his best promo clip yet.
