Chris Brown appears to have hinted that he has broken up with Rihanna.

The pair previously dated before the 'Don't Judge Me' man assaulted the singer in 2009, but they have been back together recently.

However, in a new interview with Australia's 2DayFM, Brown said that he hoped to see as "many girls as possible" when he celebrates his birthday in Las Vegas.

The star was then asked if he would be taking in his birthday on his own, to which he said he would be doing it "solo". Brown then added:

"At the end of the day, [Rihanna's] doing her thing, she's on the road. There's always going to be love, but I'm just going to do with me, at the end of the day I'm a grown man, I just got to, you know."

The US star meanwhile was somewhat cryptic on Twitter this morning (May 6), tweeting: "Live and you f*cking learn! Lol. Ima just focus on my music."
