Christina Perri's aerial video shoot

American singer-songwriter Christina Perri has released behind-the-scenes footage from her 'Arms' video shoot. 

Explaining the concept behind both the single and its accompanying visuals, she said:

"‘Arms’ is a song I wrote a couple months ago. It’s about this battle with yourself, when you’re in love. Normally when you’re in love, this little thing pops up which is fear, and you don’t really feel lovable. You’re afraid of opening yourself up and being loved."

"So ‘Arms’ is really about that battle between you, and yourself and your fear, and in the end, love wins. With this video, I came up with some obstacles that represent fear to me.”  

In the video, Perri employs the use of acrobatic-style high wires to hoist her into the air and spends a lot of time hanging from the cables in various situations. Watch the exciting footage here:
