Coldplay will play live on the Today Show next month.

The British group will take part in the US TV show's Live On The Plaza feature in New York on March 14.

The band are continuing to promote their 2015 album 'A Head Full Of Dreams'.

Coldplay's first tour dates in support of the record will take place in South America in March and April.

They will then head to Europe before hitting stadiums in North America.

Among the schedule is a headline slot at the Glastonbury Festival in June.
