Coldplay and Beyoncé track has gone gold in the UK

Coldplay are celebrating after one of their songs went gold in the UK.

Their Beyoncé collaboration 'Hymn for the Weekend' reached the milestone this week.

This means that the 2015 track has now sold over 400,000 units.

In other new certifications issued by the BPI, Beyoncé's new album 'Lemonade' has gone silver in just one week.

The milestone is equivalent to 60,000 sales.

'Writer's Block' by Peter, Bjorn And John is also now silver.

Martin Garrix's 2013 single 'Animals' has reached platnium status, meaning that it has shifted over 600,000 units.
