Coldplay's frontman talks about future plans: 'I don't think we would split'

Well-loved British band Coldplay have revealed that they're not sure what the future holds because their albums "form a circle", but it's unlikely they will split for good.

Frontman Chris Martin told Beats 1 radio that they believe their discography is very connected and full as it stands, but this doesn't necessarily mean that they will draw a line under their career:

“I don’t think we’d split up as a band so hopefully we’ll try to work out something to do at some point. But also part of me right now just feels like, yeah, seven albums, that’s great and they form a kind of circle and they all make sense to me now and I feel really proud of them."

He added: “We’re comfortable with being who we are at the moment. I think when we let go of the idea we had to try and win everyone over I think that was really liberating.”

Coldplay, meanwhile, will be performing at Glastonbury Festival this summer.
