Official footage of Coldplay's recent live collaboration with James Corden has been uploaded online.

The band teamed up with the TV host at Los Angeles' Rose Bowl on Sunday (August 21) to run through Prince's 'Nothing Compares 2 U'.

The performance acted as a tribute to the late music icon, who passed away in April aged 57.

The song was written by Prince for his side-project The Family in 1985.

However, it was made famous by Sinead O'Connor when she released a version of the tune in 1990.

Reflecting on his Coldplay collaboration, Corden tweeted after the show: "Best birthday present EVER!!!!"
