Coldplay set for one-off university gig

Coldplay have today (October 10) announced their involvement in Radio 1's Student Tour, which will see them play a one-off gig at one of the UK's leading universities.

The 'Fix You' stadium superstars will rock the University of East Anglia in Norwich on October 27 as part of the road show and their performance will be broadcast live around the world. Tickets for the event are only £20 so they are expected to sell at a record rate.

Fans hoping to get their hands on a pair of tickets will have to be at UEA's Student Union building by 9am on Saturday, October 15.

The other acts taking part in Radio 1's Student Tour are Example, Kasabian and Noah & The Whale, and they will perform at other higher education facilities including Aberdeen, Hatfield and Leicester. More information can be found on Radio 1's official website.
