Coldplay pull out of Australian appearances

Coldplay have cancelled their forthcoming scheduled appearances in Australia due to undisclosed personal reasons.

The band were due to perform at radio stations and on television shows in Sydney next week, but they have been forced to delay the trip and issued an official statement on the situation:

"We sincerely apologise to our Australian fans for having to postpone next week's scheduled trip. We miss you guys and we promise we'll make it up to you. In fact, stay tuned for a big announcement soon."

Despite this last minute change of plans, Coldplay are due to collaborate with Rihanna on stage at the GRAMMYs (February 12) and sent out a tweet earlier this morning to tell their followers that they have been rehearsing their duet, 'Princess Of China', and it's sounding "absoutely beautiful'.
