Coldplay and Jay-Z have teamed up to offer fans the chance to take in the New Year in style.

The two acts are performing at the Barclays Center in New York on Monday (December 31) to end 2012 on a high.

They are auctioning off tickets to an exclusive suite at the venue that overlooks the stage on website charitybuzz.

One winner will be able to take nine guests to the event, with the price currently sitting at $7,000.

Funds from the auction are being raised for the Downtown Brooklyn Neighborhood Alliance, which aims to create a new health and wellness centre.

The auction ends later today (December 28).
