DRAP keep the musical romance on going with their slick remake of an 80’s synth-pop classic.

Since producer Per Drappesen and DJ Thyge Nørgaard joined forced in early 2016 to form DRAP they have forged a forward-thinking electronic pop sound full of catchy yet unique sounding dance music influences.

Their new single ‘Don’t You Want Me’ is a prime example of their style as they brilliantly pay homage to one of the biggest bands and indeed vocal hooks in pop music:

As DRAP tell us: "We always loved Human League's "Don't you want me" and we thought it was about time to give this 80s gem a different modern spin. It took us a few attempts to get it right, but we are really happy with how it finally turned out!” 

They go on to say: "We thought that starting the song with only guitars and vocals would give it a sweet indie feel which takes an unexpected turn once the chorus hits. We love that kind of surprise!"

With their self-released debut single “I’ll be coming over” they were able to attract debut attention in the streaming world with big Spotify playlists reaching over 400.000 streams right off the bat. Their new single is destined to surpass their previous successes.
