The Sun ran with a story today (June 17) that included a photo of the Australian beauty clutching a pen and paper in Los Angeles with apparent song words written on it.

The lyrics seem to read: "You sang me, 'Baby, baby, baby', and I thought, 'Oh, yeah'. This is the guy, this is the man, this is what dreams are made of. This feels so good, you make me smile, hell yeah."

They continue: "I love that you believe the things you sang. But it was the things you said that gave you away. Baby, baby, baby, I believe it."

Minogue's last album came in the shape of 2007's 'Club Disco', with the Aussie currently a judge on her native X Factor.

She was also on the judging panel on the UK X Factor from 2007 until 2010.

The two stars had a famously fraught relationship when they worked together on the hit TV talent show alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

Osbourne said Minogue was a judge "because of her looks, not because of her contribution to music”.

After leaving the series she even claimed the brunette beauty was "manipulative" and "cold as an iceberg".

Minogue worked on the panel after Osbourne left and was replaced with Cheryl Cole.

Now Osbourne is back - alongside returning judges Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh - and Minogue isn't sure it's the right move.

Speaking to British newspaper The Mirror she said: “I read they are going back to the original auditions and Sharon Osbourne is coming back. That’s risky. Either people will go, ‘We have moved on’ or go ‘Amazing’. I won’t be watching, I haven’t watched any of the shows since I left.

She added: “I think Louis will have fun with Sharon. But with any of those shows around the world, watch this space. The audience decide if they like the line-up. Simon has always been ballsy to make those kind of decisions. When he moved it to the big live audience I was like, ‘Are you kidding? You think this will work?’ and he said, ‘Absolutely’ and it did. He has always said you have to keep these shows evolving otherwise they will die.”

Minogue also gave an insight into how she tackled the role of judge on The X Factor.

She explained: “When you are on the judging panel you reach down and you grab your balls. You have to be gutsy with your statements and your choices. It is hard to stick to it when the rest of the panel is united in an opposing opinion.”

The Mirror quotes the media star as saying that the group were more than helpful when they visited her native Australia.

Minogue said that she ended up backstage at their concert alongside a friend and her daughters, with the 'Kiss You' singers more than hospitable. She said:

"My friend has two daughters, 10 and 13, and we went in backstage, VIP. The 1D boys came out, met the girls and gave them books, pictures and posters. They were amazing."

Dannii added that she thought Harry Styles and Co.'s performance at February's BRIT Awards was the most impressive part of the ceremony, saying: "I thought they were the best thing at the Brits."

Minogue has previously lavished praise on the One Direction lads, saying: "'They are such good guys. The excitement around them is amazing. I think it's a bit of a return to wholesome pop music, which is nice."

The Australian star has son Ethan from her former relationship with Kris Smith.

Minogue is savouring the moments with her son - who turns three in July - and hopes one day she can add to her brood.

She told British newspaper The Sun after she finds a new partner: “Then I’d like to have more kids, but we’re into the terrible twos with Ethan so we’ll see. He requires a lot of time, which is why I changed my schedule to be with him more. I don’t want to miss out on these moments with him.”

The former X Factor judge has been linked with several BBC & ITV projects since leaving the hit talent show.

Minogue insists she's looking forward to a new challenge.

She said: “X Factor is not part of my life, not now. I think it will be interesting for viewers to see me do something completely different. I can’t wait to get back on British TV and I’m not nervous at all."

The stylish show, which is hosted by Elle Macpherson, is due to return to Sky Living next year for a new series.

Minogue, who has been strongly linked this year with a return to her old stomping ground the X Factor, has confirmed that she will feature on the Next Top Model show, which will be the programme's ninth series. She said:

"I'm brushing up on my model moves and with my highest platform heels on, I am excited to come face to face with (well, maybe look up to) the glamazons of BINTM 2013. Next Top Model has always been a part of my essential TV viewing and I'm so excited to be back in the UK for Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model's ninth series. Whoop!"

The Aussie continued: "Mentoring and judging has been a major part of my life since 2007. It will be great to share some fashion and modelling experience with the girls. It's an exciting time to be part of the Sky Living team. Bring on 2013!"

Minogue meanwhile has also featured as a judge on Australia's Got Talent.

The former X-Factor judge, who has been linked with several BBC & ITV projects since leaving the hit talent show, told Daybreak yesterday that she’s looking forward to a new challenge:

"I would love to back on TV here. The support I've had has been incredible, I mean it's been a big ride for me being invited on to a big Saturday night show [The X Factor] and I feel like a lot of people lived that with me.

"And I'd love to come back and do something new. I think the landscape of TV has changed incredibly in the last 12 months globally, so it's kind of like what is going to happen next and you want to do something that's going to be really good, and you're passionate about."

The 40-year-old, who has spent the last two years in Australia raising son Ethan, added that she’s glad to be back in the UK:

"It's nice to be back in London. It's nice to be here with my sister [Kylie] and with my mates, that I've been missing. It's been a year and it's gone so quickly, 'cos so much has happened, but it's good to be back.

"I'm going to be back and forth quite a bit now."

Minogue picked up a thyroid condition after giving birth to her baby Ethan back in 2010 and it troubled her for some time.

Speaking earlier this year about the problem, Minogue said that she felt like the whole of 2010 had been "wiped out" as a result of the condition.

The Aussie meanwhile also suffered from acute appendicitis in 2011.

In a new interview with Glamour magazine, the former X Factor judge revealed that she "finally feels good again". Speaking about last year's health scare, Minogue said:

"It was a lot for my body to take because only ten months earlier I'd had a C-section to have Ethan. Now, for the first time in ages, I really feel like I'm back in my body. I finally feel good again."

Minogue meanwhile added that her son Ethan has been her "rock" as she dealt with her breakup from former boyfriend Kris Smith - despite her seemingly struggling to pick him up. She said: "He's heavy but he's just a complete and utter bundle of joy. Ethan has been my rock."

Tom Bower's biography 'Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell' caused something of a stir once it was released and despite being sold as an unofficial book, Cowell apologised for its content and explained that he was sorry if it embarrassed anyone. 

Minogue has now addressed the biography and credited the journalists for putting "hundreds of hours into making" it, saying it probably "makes for a great read":

"I haven't read the book, but I've been told about the excerpts that relate to me and the speculation about my private life. From what's been reported they -- Tom and Simon -- put hundreds of hours into making this book, and Tom is a respected journalist."

"They looked very pleased with it all at their launch. I'm sure it makes for a great read and I wish them the best."

The Aussie star was a judge on the show from 2007 before leaving in 2011 to concentrate on working on Australia's Got Talent.

Minogue was heavily linked with a return to the X Factor this year after Kelly Rowland left the show, but she told Glamour that she decided against it. She said:

"I was offered the chance to return, but I decided it wasn't the right thing for me. It didn't fit in with arrangements I'd made for Australia's Got Talent."

Minogue continued: "I have been with AGT since the first episode and it's filmed in my home town. I had four incredible years on The X Factor but the show has moved on and so have I. The X Factor will always have a special place in my heart. I'm still in contact with the contestants."

Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was picked as Rowland's replacement for the 2012 X Factor, with filming starting earlier this year.

Sydney’s Daily Telegraph recently reported that she was seen in a clinch with the singer, who came third in his country’s version of The X-Factor and won Dancing With The Stars, at a Melbourne after-show party for Australia’s Got Talent.

However, the 40-year-old’s publicist told the Daily Mail that Minogue, who split from husband Kris Smith in April, is not romantically involved with Ruffo in any way:

"This story is completely fabricated. Dannii did not kiss or get caught in a 'clinch' with Johnny Ruffo at the AGT wrap party. There is absolutely no truth in this whatsover."

The Aussie, who had baby Ethan with Smith, spoke to the Australian Marie Claire about her family life post-split.

Minogue was asked how she is coping with a 22-month-old son now that she doesn't have Smith around, to which she replied:

"How do I juggle everything now? Some days with ease, some days with difficulty. I have found that, over the years, whatever happens, you have to roll with it. I try to take it all in my stride, but when it affects my loved ones I feel an internal struggle with the love for my work."

She also said: "Fame and work have always had an impact on my family since I went into this business at seven years of age. It's all I know."

Despite being an 86-year-old, Her Majesty is a "bona fide style queen", says Minogue.

Speaking to Glamour magazine, the singer and fashionista said that the Queen has dodged "fuddy-duddy land" and gets her fashion choices just right. 

"A grandmother several times over, the queen could be forgiven for sauntering into fuddy-duddy land, but instead, she dresses age-appropriately, sticking to colour-blocking suits she knows, and getting it so right. Look no further than the primrose dress she wore to Catherine and William's wedding, and the series of acid-brights she wore for last year's tour of Australia. There aren't lots of octogenarian fashion icons, but this 86 year old is a bona fide style queen."

She concluded: "Her wardrobe is a triumph of stylish functionality. When she stepped off the plane in Australia last October, she spent most of her 11-day tour walking around, meeting her subjects. Her courtiers must think through every single element of her attire."

Reports surfaced earlier this week that suggested the couple had parted ways, but Minogue took to social networking site Twitter in the early hours of this morning (April 4) and revealed the news herself:

"It brings me great sadness to tell you that Kris & I have separated. We still care for each other & ask for privacy at this difficult time, in particular for our son Ethan who remains our number one priority."

"Needing to retreat for a while. Thank you for your ever loving continued support."

Smith and Minogue began dating back in 2008 and also have a son together, Ethan, who was born in the summer of 2010.

Minogue has teamed up with Tabitha Somerset Webb to create the Project D fashion range and they duo seemingly have a wishlist of stars they'd love to dress.

The Aussie star told Bang Showbiz that her dress dream would be Adele - with Minogue admitting that if she wore the dress and sang then she would probably start crying. She said:

"Every girl wants to dress Adele, if you could have Adele in your dress singing one of her songs, I think I would cry, I would burst into tears.''

Minogue added that their collection of clothes has been changing due to their pair's pregnancies and resultant fluctuating shapes. She said:

"Considering we've only been up and running for two years and in the first year I got pregnant and in the second year Tabitha got pregnant we've designed things that we were designing for our shapes at the time and our shapes have changed so much."

The 40-year-old style icon, who set up the Project D fashion label with close friend Tabitha Somerset Webb in 2010, admits she would love for The Duchess of Cambridge to follow in the footsteps of sister Pippa, who was seen wearing two of their gowns at separate events last year:

“There's probably not a brand in town that wouldn't want to dress the Duchess of Cambridge.

"She's an iconic, gorgeous girl and if she ever chose to wear Project D, we would be incredibly flattered.”

Business partner Webb had previously talked of the pair’s delight at Pippa’s choice of attire in an interview with Hello Magazine last December:

She said: “Pippa has been amazing. It's so flattering that she has chosen to wear our dresses. She looks gorgeous in them. She's very much a Project D girl - elegant, classy and sexy.

“Now it would be great if her sister Catherine wore one of our designs, too.”
