Dappy has confirmed two London dates due to take place this spring.

The rapper, who recently finished second in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, will play two shows at the O2 Islington Academy on April 10 and 11.

Tickets for the gigs, which are expected to include both new and old tracks, will go on sale from February 7.

It was also confirmed today (February 3) that Dappy will perform at this year's Isle of Wight Festival, which is taking place in June.

As previously reported, the rapper recently stated that the thinks the public's perception of him has changed since appearing on Celebrity Big Brother.

He said: "I didn't think I'd get that far because going in there a lot of people had a misperception of me and certain groups of the media painted me out to be some sort of vile monster. I'm hard-bodied on the outside but I've got a sensitive side too, everybody's got a heart, it beats. I've got a family that love me at home and that's what I think people didn't really understand."
