Dappy helps the UK set a new chart record

Dappy has helped set a new chart record with his debut solo single, 'No Regrets', which went to No.1 yesterday (Sunday, September 25).

The star entered at the top spot in the UK singles chart last night and this position set a brand new record for the longest consecutive run of No.1 singles by British artists.

The record was originally set back in 1963 after an impressive 10 UK artists scored No.1s continuously, but this has now been broken as Dappy became the 11th in the new chain.

DJ Fresh ft. Sian Evans' 'Louder' began this run back in July 16 and superstars The Wanted, JLS, Cher Lloyd, Nero, Wretch 32, Olly Murs, Example, Pixie Lott and One Direction all followed suit. 'No Regrets' stormed in at No.1 yesterday and has set the bar for British talent once again.
