Dappy's spokesperson has confirmed reports that the rapper was taken to hospital after being kicked in the face by a horse.

Speculation emerged earlier that the N-Dubz man received treatment after an unfortunate horse incident.

A rep for the Brit has since confirmed to the Daily Mail that Dappy is now recovering from the painful event. They said:

"I can confirm that my client was involved in a horse riding accident at home where he fell from his horse and was subsequently kicked in the face. Dappy was rushed to hospital where he received medical treatment and is now recovering."

Dappy meanwhile was given a six-month jail sentence suspended for 18 months earlier this year after being found guilty of affray and assault.

He was involved in a fight outside a petrol station last year that ended up in a mass brawl. He denied all charges.
