David Bowie plaque unveiled in Berlin by mayor

A plaque dedicated to David Bowie has been unveiled in Berlin.

The singer lived in the German city between 1976 and 1978.

The Brit, who died in January at the age of 69 after a battle with cancer, created his albums 'Low' and 'Heroes' in Berlin.

A plaque has now been unveiled by Mayor Michael Mueller outside the house where Bowie lived.

He paid tribute to the "special relationship" the musician had with the city.

The plaque is located on a street in the city's Schoeneberg district.
