One of David Bowie's final collaborators reveals their 'amazing connection'

One of the last people to collaborate with David Bowie has opened up on their "amazing" bond.

The singer released his final album 'Blackstar' just days before his death from cancer in January.

Saxophonist Donny McCaslin - as well as his band - was hired to work on the record.

Speaking to The Guardian, the musician said the loss of Bowie at the age of 69 was "devastating".

He added: "We had this amazing connection and then he was gone.

"For me to be associated with him is really special. I don’t think that negates anything I’ve done prior, or what comes in the future."
