David Guetta is on course to bag a No.1 UK single this weekend.

The Frenchman recently released the track 'Lovers on The Sun' and the Official Charts Company today (August 20) today confirmed it has gone to the top of the singles chart.

The Sam Martin collaboration, however, may face competition from Taylor Swift's new single 'Shake It Off' come Sunday (August 24).

The US star released the track on Monday night (August 18) and it is currently No.6.

At No.2 on the update meanwhile is Nico & Vinz's previous chart-topper 'Am I Wrong', whilst Magic!'s 'Rude is No.3.

'My Head Is A Jungle' by Wankelmut & Emma Louise shoots up 186 places to No.4 and Union J's new entry 'Tonight (We Live Forever)' is No.5.

Cliff Richard's 1992 song 'I Still Believe In You' meanwhile has shot to No.43 after fans decided to show their support for the singer after his house was searched following a historic sex abuse allegation.
