David Guetta admits Ed Sheeran session didn't work out: 'Maybe another time'

David Guetta has confessed that a songwriting session with Ed Sheeran didn't turn out to be fruitful.

The French DJ and the British singer-songwriter teamed up together in the hope of creating music.

Speaking to Capital FM this week, Guetta admitted that they have called time on the collaboration.

However, the door has been left open for future sessions.

He said: "It didn't happen finally! Maybe another time! When we work on music it doesn't come out amazing every time.

"It's not like a magic recipe, usually everyone has to make a couple of sessions. It's not a 100% guarantee every time, imagine, then I would make 300 records a year!"

Guetta meanwhile was confirmed today (January 30) to headline the Sunday night of this year's Wireless Festival in London.
