Diana Vickers announces new EP release

Diana Vickers has announced that she will release a new EP this year after recently revealing that she had split from record label RCA

Speaking to Digital Spy, she explained that a new album is in the works although it's not likely to be unveiled until next year so she has decided to treat fans to something smaller:

"I've decided to - later on this year, soon - to release a small EP with some songs that I've been doing and for you guys to hear."

"That'll happen pretty soon. No date's set in stone, but that will happen this year, and I really, really can't wait for you to hear it."

Talking more specifically about her forthcoming full-length record, Vickers added "I've got so many songs, more than 30 now, and not all of them can make the album. I wanted to pick some of my favourite ones and show you."

"I know you're all so excited as much as I am to get it out there and it seems a long wait so to break it up I'm going to give you some special tracks."
