THE REAL KIDS LIVE DATE - NAMBUCCA, LONDON N7 WEDNESDAY 12TH APRIL 2017

The Real Kids, the legendary Boston band led by guitarist, singer and songwriter John Felice are set to play a London date at Nambucca on the Holloway Road on Wednesday the 12th of April 2017.

Hosted by The Dirty Water Club, the show will be the American outfit’s first London performance since last Summer and will see them joined on the bill by The Cavemen.

Originally formed in 1972, The Real Kids released their first studio album ‘The Real Kids’ on the Marty Thau’s Red Star label in 1977. Now considered a classic debut, the band have reunited on several occasions and continue to perform to a newer, younger and ever expanding audience.

They’re recent album ‘Shake … Outta Control’ was produced by Rick Harte and released on Ace of Hearts Records in 2014. A fantastic set of songs, the record captures the raw energy and tough hooks of the debut and sits easily among the band's finest work. Highlights include ‘Common At Noon’, a sublime take on Jonathan Richman's ‘Fly Into The Mystery’ and the high-energy title track that’s anchored by the sort of classic punk rock'n'roll riff that made their name.

Currently in the middle of a European tour, The Real Kids follow the London date with a show in Evesham on the 13th April and will also announce details of a brand new seven-inch single very soon.

LIVE DATES:
APR 12TH: NAMBUCCA, LONDON N7
APR 13TH: THE RAILWAY HOTEL, EVESHAM
