Piano-pop star Ben Folds has long been known for adding unexpected instrumentation to his songwriting, including a series of works performed with full orchestras. F

or his most recent project, he collaborated with the New York-based chamber sextet yMusic (who you may have just seen earlier this year on their tour with José González) for a full cycle of songs that are lush with horns and strings but never lacking in Folds' signature wry lyricism.
