Dr Dre says his upcoming new album will probably be his last.

The rapper is due to unleash 'Compton: A Soundtrack' on Friday (August 7).

It will be the US star's first record since '2001', which was released sixteen years ago.

Speaking on his Beats 1 radio show at the weekend, Dr Dre said that the album will be the final curtain on his solo career.

The rap man said: "I was leaving the set, coming to the studio and I felt myself just being so inspired by the movie [Straight Outta Compton] that I started recording an album. And I kept it under wraps.

"The album is finished. It's gonna be my grand finale."
