Sir Elton John and David Furnish plan two weddings

Sir Elton John and David Furnish are planning on getting married twice.

The pair entered into a civil partnership in the UK in 2005 but the country is in the process of legalising same-sex marriage.

Speaking to Hollyscoop, David Furnish revealed that the couple are interested in renewing their vows in Britain once the law is passed.

However, they also want to do the same in Los Angeles if same-sex marriage becomes legal there too. He said:

"Los Angeles is like a second home to us. We have a civil partnership, but gay marriage has now been legalised in the UK."

Furnish added: "When we go back to Britain, we will definitely renew our vows under the gay marriage act but to do it here in Los Angeles, which is a second home to us, we'd love to do it here too! Let's renew those vows everywhere they become legal!"
