Soul sensation Bernhoft returns to the UK this November for two very special live shows, first at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on 26 November, followed by Shepherd’s Bush Empire on November 27.

The live shows mark the end of an impressive year for the Norwegian star, who won international acclaim this summer with his recent album, ‘Islander’ [Abbey Records].

With both singles hitting the playlist at BBC Radio 2, the album was heralded everywhere from Rolling Stone and the LA Times to the Evening Standard,  The Independent and Blues & Soul. Its groundbreaking accompanying HD music app has also been tipped as the future of album releases.  Praised by tech and music lovers alike, it’s already been featured across The Mail on Sunday, Music Week, Shortlist and The Guardian, who included it as one of their top essential new apps.

In support of ‘Islander,’ Bernhoft also wowed audiences with his awe-inspiring, one-man-band skills at this year’s Glastonbury. Showcasing songs from the album he impressed the BBC so much they invited into the studio to perform live on their BBC 2 flagship Glastonbury show.  Just one of many high profile UK TV performances that have also included ITV’s Weekend Show, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, and coming soon, a performance and interview with BBC Breakfast, confirmed for this November.

Bernhoft’s album ‘Islander’ is out now. He returns to the UK to play The Manchester Deaf Institute and The 02 Shepherds Bush Empire on November 26/27.
