Enrique Iglesias discusses "crazy" but "sweet" fan that swam to his house

Enrique Iglesias has revealed that his fans are still as zealous as ever.

During an interview with The Evening Standard, the ‘Hero’ singer told a story about one particularly memorable fan and their dangerous to meet him.

Enrique explained: “I had a fan a month ago that swam across the bay in Miami just to get to my house.”

He elaborated: “It was crazy — she could have drowned. She was obviously a sweet girl but she had a moment of too much craziness and put her life in danger. She was very lucky because the day before I had installed a ladder because my house is next to a sea wall — you can’t climb up it. I had just been advised the week before to get one installed in case of emergencies — that was how she was able to get out of the sea.”

Whilst the ‘I’m A Freak’ crooner is currently busy following the release of his latest album ‘Sex and Love’ he is planning on living a quieter with his long-term partner Anna Kournikova in the future.

Iglesias stated: “What would probably settle me down more is starting a family. But it’s difficult for me to plan. I don’t usually know where I’m going to be four months from now.”
