Example's stadium-sized ambition

Example may have shot to No.1 in the UK singles chart last night (June 12) with 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me', but he admits that he won't rest until he headlines Wembley Stadium.

Speaking to BBC's Newsbeat, the 'Kickstarts' star explained that his ambition is unfaltering:

"The ultimate goal for me is now to carry on releasing albums and touring until I get to Wembley Stadium."

"Two, three years ago I wouldn't be able to say that. I was ambitious but didn't know where I was going. Now, I know what my sound is."

He also revealed that he had a gut feeling 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' would "be big", adding:

"I knew it was going to be big. It's an emotional journey. It's got the highs and the lows, the light and the dark, and it sounds current."

Tweeting to his fans this morning about his new-found chart success, Example wrote:

"Just been Boots. Bought some cotton buds AND some face scrub. That's how you roll when you're No.1"
