Example turning to rock on new album

Example has revealed that he is set to veer towards rock on his next album.

He is planning what will be his fourth studio album and he told O2 at his recent O2 Arena gig in London that he will be channelling the likes of Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam.

Example isn't quite best known for "huge guitar riffs" but it seems like he'll be angling for some when he hits the studio. He said:

"It's going to be a rock album but produced electronically – every track's got huge guitar riffs. I'm pretty much singing and trying to do impressions of Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters."

Example is planning on releasing the album in October or November this year.
