Example has claimed he‘s now left his party animal days behind to pursue a cleaner lifestyle.   

The 30-year-old, who had previously described his 2011 release, ‘Playing In The Shadows,’ as his ‘drugs and commitment record,’ told The Sun that he’s quit beer on the advice of another chart-topping dance star:

“Calvin Harris told me to swap beer for whisky. I’m living the clean life now.”

The ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’ singer, who performed at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend yesterday, also revealed that he’s now more interested in DIY than being a hit with the ladies:

“My girlfriend is moving over from Australia this week. Fans ask why I don’t talk about getting on it any more.

“I’m more interested in painting shelves now.”
