Example has become the latest name to be announced for this year's iTunes Festival.

The star-studded music event takes place over the whole of September at London's Roundhouse venue.

Example will be headlining a show on 17 September, with support coming from DJ Fresh and Hadouken!.

The festival will see a gig every night in September, with the likes of One Direction, Olly Murs and Biffy Clyro all confirmed so far.

Other acts already announced include Jessie J, who performs on September 21, and JLS, who will take to the stage on September 6.

Tickets for all events are free and can be applied for through the iTunes Festival website.
