Florence Welch to record second album in shaman's robes

Florence Welch has revealed that she'd like her crew and band to wear shaman's robes when they record Florence and the Machine's sophomore album.

In a recent interview, the flame-haired vocalist explained that her new record will be darker, but has now admitted to the Daily Star that in order to employ an authentic and spiritual sound she will be working on setting the mood with certain props and attire:

"Everyone – the whole band – gets dressed for work, puts on their big robe, and comes down to the studio. I love seances, witchcraft, heaven and hell, voodoo, gospel, possession, demons, exorcism and all that stuff. I'm not a religious person. Sex, violence, love, death, are the topics that I'm constantly wrestling with, it's all connected back to religion."
