Florence Welch officially opens Harrods sale

Flame-haired frontwoman Florence Welch officially opened the Harrods sale yesterday, December 27, in a sheer black gown with matching Chanel cape.

The 'Dog Days Are Over' superstar turned up to the traditional post-Christmas event in a vintage green double-decker bus and wowed shoppers with her stunning gothic high-fashion ensemble and contrasting red lips.

25-year-old Welch treated the crowds to a rendition of 'What The Water Gave Me', which features on her latest album 'Ceremonials', before opening the sales to the public.

She also revealed Florence and the Machine's excitement at being the first band to perform at the opening of Harrods' winter sale and said:

"We are honoured to be the first band ever to perform at the opening of the world's most famous sale."
