Florence Welch's performances affected by emotional connections to songs

Florence and the Machine's stunning frontwoman has admitted that there are certain songs she struggles to perform live as she has such a strong emotional connection to them.

Ethereal songstress Welch opened up to Look magazine about how some of the more personal tracks from her two albums can be challenging to sing in front of an audience because they affect her emotions:

"I'm an emotional person and I get overwhelmed when I perform certain songs. 'No Light, No Light' and 'Shake It Out' bring back lots of things. They are about longing and loss, so it can be hard singing those."

"I find it quite hard to tell people how I feel so writing is a way to tell something to someone without actually having to see it. But if someone asks if it was about them, I'd always say no. To get it out there brings up a lot of things that move me."
