Florence Welch ready to take a year off

Florence Welch has revealed that she plans to take a year out of music to recharge her batteries.

Her band Florence + The Machine have been working off their 2011 album 'Ceremonials' over the past year but it seems they're about to take an extended break once the cycle is over.

Speaking to Style magazine, Welch said that there will probably be a little bit of time between now and their next record as they take a backseat for a year. The singer said:

"There's a big 'take a year off' plan. The record company have put no pressure on for the next album. They've said I can have as long as I want."

Welch meanwhile also spoke about one of her favourite hobbies - fashion watching in East London. The 'Spectrum' star said:

"I like playing hipster safari. It's like people watching, people watching, but in east London. I like walking around, looking at everyone's clothes. It's like, 'Yep, I used to go to college with them. Yep there's that fashion blogger wearing a snazzy Outfit'. You have a list and tick the east London cliches off as you go."
