Ethereal songstress Florence Welch has added an extra tour date to her recently confirmed run of the UK.

She will head out on tour in support of new album 'Ceremonials' in December and the first concert will take place on the 4th at Exeter's Westpoint Arena, but Florence + the Machine have now extended the dates with another show at London's O2 Arena on December 6.

Tweeting about the news earlier today (September 14), Welch wrote: "Arhh!!!! 2nd O2 in London going on sale."

The new set of tour dates is as follows:

December 4 - Exeter Westpoint Arena
December 5,6 - London O2 Arena
December 8 - Coventry Ricoh Arena
December 9 - Aberdeen AECC
December 10 - Liverpool Echo Arena
