Florence And The Machine's debut album 'Lungs' has finally topped the UK albums chart last night (January 17) after spending 28 consecutive weeks in the Top 40.

Florence Welch and her band released the record in July 2009. It went in at Number Two, and stayed there for five weeks, being only held off from the top spot by a Michael Jackson compilation, which went to the top spot after the singer's death.
