Gary Barlow gives Robbie Williams deadline to decide on Take That future

Gary Barlow says Robbie Williams has until the end of May to decide if he wants to join Take That for their upcoming album.

The singer originally left the boyband in 1996 before rejoining in 2010 for the massive album 'Progress'.

However, it is unclear at the moment if Williams, who became a father for the first time in 2012, will join his bandmates for Take That's next album, which is currently in progress.

Speaking on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, Gary Barlow suggested that the singer will have to decide soon if he wants in on the action.

He said: "Robbie has until the end of May to make his mind up. We need to know what we are doing. The thing with Robbie is he is a family man now, so if he is not in the band he will write on the record and we’ll work together on his next record. We do this now, we work together a lot. Whether he will be in the final line-up I am not sure."

Barlow added: "We are one month into the writing process. The new record will hopefully be out for Christmas, with a tour next year. We think we have some good material already but no album name just yet. We are extremely excited."
