Gary Barlow to release first solo album in 14 years

Take That frontman Gary Barlow has confirmed that he will be releasing his third solo album in two months through Polydor Records.

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (September 17), Barlow explained that he's excited about the project and it's finally the right time to release it:

"After 14 long years I'm proud to announce my new solo album out on November 25th! I'm excited for u to hear it! More info to follow #gbsolo. Thank you for all your lovely messages of encouragement!"

He then returned to the social networking site a little later and told his followers that he was "heading to photo shoot in the East End".

His first solo offering, 'Open Road', was released back in 1997 and he then debuted 'Twelve Months, Eleven Days' two years later in '99. Last year, Barlow released 'Sing', which was recorded for the Queen's Jubilee and it peaked at No.1 in the UK.
