A song George Michael recorded before his death may be released soon

A song the late George Michael recorded just before he died could be released soon.

The song was produced by Naughty Boy. He revealed: "It's a brand new track, it's amazing! It's a song that he asked me to work with him on and there's a real chance this single will come out."

George Michael died on Christmas day last year (December 25, 2016). On the very same day, Naughty Boy's mother had a stroke. He said:

"I felt my whole life was ending. It was so awful.

"I feel so sad talking about it But there is still something amazing to come from this and that is, my mum is doing better and we have this song."

Naughty Boy was speaking at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards, where Dame Shirley Bassey, Nile Rodgers, Phil Collins, Blondie, Emeli Sande, Mumford & Sons, Anne-Marie and Pete Tong all received special honors on Friday (June 30).
