George Michael returns to work for new video shoot

George Michael this week returned to work to shoot the video for his new single.

The 48-year-old, who yesterday was announced as one of the headline acts for the Olympics Closing Ceremony, has been largely quiet since his battle with pneumonia late last year, save for a brief appearance at the BRIT Awards.

But the former Wham star looked fit and healthy as he filmed scenes for the promo near London’s Docklands Light Railway, which also featured a zebra and gun-toting LAPD officers.

It’s not yet confirmed which track the video is for, but it is thought to be 'White Light,' the song about Michael’s near-death experience which he recently tweeted about, posting: “Am I allowed to say it may be the best dance record I've ever made?”
