Naya Rivera on 'Glee': 'Unfortunately it can't go on forever'

Singer and actress Naya Rivera has opened up about her time on the 'Glee' cast and revealed that while it has been an incredible experience it must come to an end soon.

The beauty, who plays the role of Santana Lopez on the hit U.S. musical drama programme, told Elle magazine that it's important to let the series run its course although it's nearing a natural end:

"We've had an amazing run on this show, and so whenever it ends, it has to end. Unfortunately, it can't go on forever. But, I'm just really grateful that I was on it for this long."

Referring to the show's creator's recent announcement that it will end for good after season 6, she added: "We always kind of knew that."

Ryan Murphy told the crowd at a convention in Los Angeles: "The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn's story. I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was - he was in it. I knew what the last line was - she said it to him."
