Green Day have announced their first gig in over a year.

The punk-rockers will perform at Cleveland's House of Blues on April 16.

Tickets will go on sale from today (April 3).

The concert comes two days before the band are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

It will be the first time group have performed live since playing at SXSW last year.

Guitarist Jason White has previously been battling tonsil cancer.
