Axl Rose files lawsuit against makers of Guitar Hero

A lawsuit has been filed by Guns N’ Roses front man, Axl Rose, against the creators of video game ‘Guitar Hero’ over the unauthorized use of former band mate Slash’s imagery.

The legal issue arose after Rose claimed that Activision Blizzard broke the agreement not to feature Slash and Rose is contesting the use of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ and ‘Sweet Child ‘O Mine’ for the game’s promotion.

The game in question, ‘Guitar Hero III’, features a digital representation of guitarist Slash on the cover despite his departure from the internationally renowned rock back back in 1999.
