Gwen Stefani reveals plans for animated Harajuku series

No Doubt beauty Gwen Stefani dropped by the KIIS-FM studios earlier today (October 20) and opened up about her brand new music, her relationship with husband Gavin Rossdale, and being a coach on 'The Voice'.

Speaking to host Ryan Seacrest, the songstress confessed that when she first joined the panel on 'The Voice', long-time coach Adam Levine sent her an email that was full of lots of advice on how to best fill the role. She also talked about fellow coach Pharrell Williams, who has been working with her on new material.

Stefani explained that she is "so grateful, it's so surreal," and added that a beat Pharrell created for one of her new tracks is so amazing that she was almost moved to tears when she first heard it. She went onto admit that the lyrics to 'Baby Don't Lie' aren't autobiographical: "Things are really good with Gavin."

Later in the interview, the 'Hollaback Girl' superstar explained that she is working on an animated Harajuku series and told listeners that No Doubt recently recorded a new song called 'Shine', which Pharrell helped create

Stefani, meanwhile, just unveiled her comeback solo single 'Baby Don't Lie' and it marks her first solo single release since 2008’s ‘Early Winter’, which was taken from her popular ‘Sweet Escape’ album.
